Endowments Minister: Need for raising “real Jihad flag” to liberate the land from dirtiness of terrorism

DAMASCUS – Endowments Minister Mohammad Abdul-Satar al-Sayyed affirmed on Wednesday the need for Ramadan to raise “the real Jihad flag” at the hands of heroes of the army to liberate the land and holy places from the dirtiness of terrorism.

In a televised speech on the occasion of Ramadan, the Minister called for “returning to have a unified rank and opinion as well as be one nation to preserve the country’s dignity, existence and sanctities.”

He offered congratulations, on behalf of himself and the scholars and all workers in the Ministry, to President Bashar al-Assad on the holy month of Ramadan.

The Minister added “We renew the pledge of Bilad al-Sham scholars to reject counterfeiting the true religion through their issuance of the pact of developing the religious discourse.”
