The British Daily Mail newspaper has revealed that employees at twenty agencies affiliated with the US administration are planning to go on strike next Tuesday, in protest against Joe Biden’s support of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, his hindering of the ceasefire and continued supply of weapons and ammunition to the occupation entity.
The newspaper indicated that the employees intend to organize a day of “mourning” and a strike to mark the 100th anniversary of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
It noted that internal disputes over the policy of blind support for “Israel” have come to light, with the Biden administration continuing to provide weapons and ammunition to the occupation entity to commit the most heinous crimes of genocide against the Palestinians.
According to one of the strike organizers, participants blame the White House for obstructing United Nations ceasefire resolutions, and for arms sales to the Israeli occupation entity.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October the 7th , the United States has continued to send tens of thousands of tons of weapons and ammunition to support the aggression. This has witnessed widespread criticism among employees at the US State Department and other official agencies.
Josh Ball, who was director of the Bureau of Political and Military Affairs at the US State Department, submitted his resignation in protest against the Biden administration’s continued providing lethal weapons to “Israel” despite the war of extermination it is waging against the Palestinians. His colleague Lara Friedman also resigned for the same reasons.
