Emirati personalities: President al-Assad’s visit to the UAE is important and constitutes a historical turning point

With great interest, the Emirati people followed the visit of President Bashar al-Assad to the United Arab Emirates, where a group of political and cultural figures unanimously agreed that the visit constitutes an important turning point and a historical event in the path of returning the Arab ranks to the path of joint and integrated action in the face of challenges.

Political and strategic affairs expert Dr. Muhammad Masoud al-Ahbabi stated that President al-Assad’s visit to the UAE is a message that indicates that Syria’s return to its Arab leadership position is important and necessary. 

 

He said: Serious efforts must begin for reconstruction and stability in Syria, which means ending the aims of extremist organizations to practice terrorism that threatens the security of the region and its people.” 

According to Dr. Al-Ahbabi, the visit comes at an important and crucial stage that calls for the return of the Arab track and unification of ranks, especially in these difficult circumstances the world is witnessing

Emirati writer Aisha Ali Al-Bairaq described the visit as a distinguished historical event that will change the course of events in the region. 

It is a new step towards consolidating and improving Arab relations through consultation and coordination between the two countries on Arab issues,” she said. 

For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai National Theater Yasser Al Gergawisaid: We are very happy with President Al-Assad’s visit to our country, the United Arab Emirates, and his arrival as a dear and generous guest, and we hope that security, stability and peace will return to this country rooted in history through the achievements of its loyal sons.” 

Al-Gergawi concluded: we say to every Syrian citizen, we are from you and you are from us, and the wound is one. The safety of lives and lands is the real priority that we do not compromise with anyone.”
