The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has revealed that the Israeli occupation committed a new massacre in an UNRWA camp housing displaced people in Tal al-Sultan area, west of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, which is the same area in which the occupation aircrafts bombed the tents of the displaced last Sunday, resulting killing 45 people and wounding 249 others.
The EMHRM reported in a statement today that it documented the martyrdom of 7 Palestinians, including 4 women, after the occupation aircrafts struck at dawn the tents of the displaced in the Tal al-Sultan area, noting that the Palestinians were forcibly displaced from Gaza City and its north, after the occupation forced them to leave their homes and head to the southern regions to target them.
It added that the occupation responded to the decision of the International Court of Justice, which ordered it to stop its aggression against Rafah, by escalating its bombing and killing. This indicates the occupation’s insistence on ignoring all international positions that condemn its massacres and demand an end to them, as it continues the genocidal war in flagrant and gross violation of the rules of international law and court decisions.
The Monitor renewed its call on all countries to shoulder their responsibilities by imposing sanctions on “Israel”, and to stop all forms of political, financial and military support and cooperation provided to it, and called on the International Criminal Court to continue investigating and dealing with all crimes of the occupation, as it is a crime of genocide and to hold those responsible accountable.
