Electricity Minister Inspected Arab Gas Pipelines, Targeted by Terrorists

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Minister of Electricity Imad Khamis, and  the governor of Damascus countryside Hussein Makhlouf inspected yesterday the Arab gas pipeline,  targeted by armed terrorist groups in  Al-barkeh area in Rural Damascus .
The minister  pointed out that maintenance and repair workshops ” are  working around the clock to  repair damages ,  resulting from terrorist attack,” pointing out that ” electricity is partly provided  to the southern region through temporary alternative energy sources .”
He explained  that the terrorist attack led to the collapse of several electricity  towers and high-tension lines , in damages , estimated at hundreds of millions Syrian pounds,  pointing out that the mercenary terrorists are  working at the command  “of joint operations rooms  ” targeting Syrian citizens and the destruction of the  infrastructure including high-tension lines in Aleppo and  the central and southern  region .
For his part, Makhlouf noted the  logistical  and rapid support and firefighters cars provided by Rural Damascus  to control the fire caused by the terrorist attack .
