Electric grid connections between Khan Sheikhoun and Maaret Al-Nouman in Idlib liberated countryside completed

Technical teams at Idlib Electricity Company have completed the electric grid connections that tie between the towns of Khan Sheikhoun and Maaret Al-Nouman in the liberated countryside of Idlib.

The project aims at providing necessary services to facilitate the return of the citizens displaced from these areas due to terrorism.

Mamdouh Abdo, Director General of the Electricity Company, said on Saturday told SANA that the works of the technical teams have focused on setting up the electric lines, medium voltage cable, law voltage transformers and transmission towers.

All works in this project, which costs 3 billion Syrian pounds, are expected to be completed by mid January, according to Abdo.
