Elections, great achievement in defiance of conspiracy

Over the past month, Syrian people have shown high awareness towards their homeland through the massive rallies held in various Syrian governorates in which they voiced complete support for holding the presidential elections that preserve their free decision, sovereignty and independence.

With only two days left before the presidential elections in Syria, the Syrian people continue to take to the streets and organize activities to express support for this significant event affirming their adherence to build the democratic state and strengthen the concepts of citizenship and rule of law.

The Syrians’ participation in the elections is a victory against the conspiracy as the bets of conspirators against Syria collapsed thanks to the valiant deeds of the Syrian Arab army and the steadfastness of the Syrian people in confrontation of the global conspiracy being hatched with the aim of implementing a Zionist project in the region and ending resistance axis against Israel as Syria constitutes the heart of this axis.

Syria is targeted for its adherence to national stances and rejection of any foreign interference in its internal affairs. The West is targeting all countries which do not abide by the western dictations. But the steadfastness of the Syrians and their unity behind their leadership and army foiled all plots and schemes against their homeland. There is no democracy without patriotism  and belonging and this implies the  need to preserve national sovereignty and eradicate terrorism which has been exported to Syria from more than 83 states with the aim of achieving certain political and economic objectives that remind us of the colonialist era at the beginning of the 20th century when France and Britain divided the Arab countries between them as if these countries were their inheritance.

The Syrians, through casting votes and participating in ballots, are conveying a clear message to the entire world that they are committed to the safety and security of their homeland and are prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty and independent decisions paying no heed to the sacrifices they will offer for the sake of the independence of their homeland and the dignity of their people.

The Syrians are participating in the upcoming elections with strong belief in their leadership, army and the bright future of their homeland. Syria is built only by its sons, and that all the misleading media campaigns are mere lies and fabrications and part of  the global scheme being hatched against Syria.

Stressing their participation in the upcoming vote, the Syrians all over the country affirmed relentless determination to continue the struggle against terrorism side by side with the Syrian army and remain committed to their national principles. The victories made by the Syrian Arab army against the terrorist groups are a source of pride for the Syrian people.

As the  day of presidential vote draws near, the Syrians get more enthusiastic to participate in this great event, viewing the elections as among the greatest of achievements of democracy in Syria, especially that they are taking place alongside a series of army’s victories in the battlefield against terrorist groups. Encouraged by the positive atmosphere prompted by the political and military victories, Syrian citizens continue to stage various activities and events to express their happiness over the course their country is walking. The participants voiced appreciation of the sacrifices made by the Syrian army against the terrorists, stressing their support to the forthcoming presidential elections.

Those who are conspiring against Syria are the same who raise the motto of democracy. They are the same who seek to hinder the most important democratic approach in its political life. The West and the US have a record of interfering in the affairs of the region and the world and going against the will of peoples because they have fake democracy and human rights that are employed to achieve their political and economic interests. Some Western states, on top of which France and Germany, who claim to be defenders of human rights, are violating these rights on daily basis. How can the defenders of democracy prevent Syrian community in their countries from casting their votes in the presidential elections?
