Eighty specialized scientific papers in the second conference of Molecular Pathology

With the aim of keeping pace with scientific developments in the medical and therapeutic fields and to encourage specialized scientific research, the work of the second molecular pathology conference has been launched today at the Cham Hotel in Damascus, which is held by the Excellence and Creativity Authority in cooperation with the Syrian Association of Pathology with the participation and support of 19 ministerial, scientific, research, academic, medical, pharmaceutical, trade union, humanitarian and development bodies.
Participants in the conference, including researchers and specialists inside and outside Syria, will discuss over three days 80 posters and scientific research focusing on several axes, including molecular pathology, medical biotechnology, stem cells, medical nanotechnology, applications of molecular genetics in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and clinical applications in tumors of the breast, lung and respiratory tract and lymphomas.
Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Excellence and Creativity Commission, stressed in his speech the importance of the conference as a scientific and research event at the local and regional levels that witnesses the participation of the elite Syrian competencies who graduated from the Academic Excellence Commission programs and are pursuing their higher studies abroad, in addition to a group of Syrian researchers including those researchers who are available in Russia, the United States of America, Germany, Britain and Romania, with the aim of exchanging experiences and keeping abreast of everything new in medical genetics research, applications of molecular biology, disease diagnosis and biotechnology.
