Egyptian politicians welcome the decision to resume Syria’s participation in the Arab League meetings

Cairo, (ST) – Egyptian politicians have welcomed the decision on Syria’s return to the Arab League. They stressed that it was a right decision that serves the interest of the Arab countries and the region as a whole.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, the Head of the Democratic Unionist Party Hassan Turk affirmed that the decision on Syria’s return to the Arab League at this time in the light of the changes taking place in the world, will enhance the operations aimed at combating terrorism and supporting stability and security, and will constitute the beginning for attaining stability in the entire region.

For his part, Mr. Al-Saead Al-Adly, Head of Egypt’s Youth Party said in a statement that Syria is an integral part of the body of the Arab nation. He pointed out that the Arab family has been completed with the return of Damascus to the Arab embrace.

In a similar statement, Naji Al-Shihabi, Head of the Generation Party, said: The decision on Syria’s return constitutes a historic decision, and an affirmation of the participation of the Arab countries that have regained their independent decision in forming a new world order based on multipolarity.
