In a statement, the Egyptian personalities called on the Egyptian state to have complete coordination with Syria in the joint war on takfiri terrorism and to reactivate the joint defense agreement between the two countries.

The statement affirmed the personalities’ full solidarity with Syria in its war against global terrorism and their condemnation of the continuous severing of ties between the two countries, which was a decision made by the “Moslem Brotherhood” terrorist party when it was in power in Egypt.

“It is illogical and unacceptable to continue adopting a decision made by terrorist regime (Moslem Brotherhood) despite the huge popular rejection in Egypt,” the statement added.
