Egyptian politician: The Presence of US and Turkish occupation forces in north Syria serves the Zionist occupation

CAIRO, (ST)_General Coordinator of the Egyptian People’s Committee for Solidarity with the Syrian People HIsham Lutfi has underscored the need to expel all foreign forces which illegally exist in Syria , describing these forces as ‘occupation forces’.

In a statement to the correspondent of the Syrian News Agency (SANA) in Cairo, the politician said: “Syria faces US, Turkish and Zionist occupation which constitutes  a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty and international laws.”

Lutfi affirmed that Syria has a legitimate right to resist this occupation. Referring to the fact that the presence of US and Turkish forces in north Syria serves the Zionist occupation [Israeli occupation] in south Syria.
