Egyptian party: Countries sponsoring terrorism no longer have the option but to leave and declare their defeat in Syria

Head of the Democratic Unionist Party in Egypt Hasan Turk stressed in a statement on Friday that Syria has foiled the schemes that targeted it thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian people and the sacrifices of the Syrian Army, pointing out that the countries sponsoring terrorism no longer have the option but to leave and declare their defeat.

“The US forces, which are occupying territories in Syria, must leave immediately, because their presence in Syria is illegal from the very beginning and because their role has been to support terrorists in the country not to fight them,” Turk made it clear.

He reiterated the need to lift the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people, affirming that these measures constitute a crime against humanity that history can’t forgive.

The terrorism that targets reconciliation efforts in some Syrian areas won’t weaken the state’s determination to do its best to restore normal life to the areas liberated from terrorists.
