Egyptian forces kill 13 terrorists northeast of Sinai

Cairo, ST- Egyptian forces have killed 13 terrorists during a security operation in El-Arish, northeast of Sinai.

According to an Interior Ministry statement released by the Egyptian media, “The national security sector got information about taking a group of terrorists from an abandoned house inside a farm in al-Hoss neighborhood in El-Arish area as a base for them to launch their attacks”.

The statement pointed out that the terrorist group was immediately targeted, where the Egyptian forces killed 13 terrorists during crossfire. Rifles, explosive devices and belts were also found in their hideout.

The Egyptian forces have killed nine terrorists at the east and south of the capital Cairo on the eighteenth of this month.
