Egyptian FM: Syria’s return to Arab incubator is essential to repair Arab National Security

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri has affirmed that Syria’s return to the Arab incubator as an active and stable state is essential to repair the Arab National Security.

According to the “Youm7” website, Shukri’s remarks came during the opening ceremony of the normal session of the Arab League Council.

“For 10 years, the Syrian crisis has been in vicious circle and only the Syrian people pay the price without any breakthrough,” the Egyptian minister said.

He asserted that the continuity of Turkey’s intervention in the region and the presence of its forces in a brotherly Arab country [Syria] is unacceptable.

“The Turkish policies would lead to the continuity of conflicts,” Shukri concluded.
