Egyptian Committee for Solidarity with Syrian people: Caesar Act is crime against humanity

Cairo (ST): The Egyptian People’s Committee for Solidarity with Syrian people affirmed that the US unilateral coercive measures, especially the so-called Caesar Act are illegal practices adopted beyond International legitimacy. In a statement, the committee  said that these measures represent a crime against humanity, particularly in light of the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic which requires the unity of international efforts to confront it.

The statement added that the US has not learnt yet from its defeat and the failure of its plans which were foiled by the legendary Syrian victories, and is still working to implement its devastating Zionist projects in the region.

The Committee pointed out that what Washington  and its allies failed to achieve through the terrorist war  they are now trying to achieve  through economic blockade and unilateral measures, the most recent of which is the issuance of an Act that can be described as the a colonialist law that was issued by an arrogant state to protect the terrorist organizations it created.

The statement pointed out that Syria, which  has always been impregnable in front of invaders, is facing today a new episode in the  American Zionist  conspiratorial series.

The committee called for breaking the so-called Caesar Act and cooperate with the Syrian state to foil all American Zionist hegemonistic attempts.
