Egyptian army eliminates 13 terrorists in Sinai

Cairo (ST): The Egyptian armed forces killed 13 terrorists during the pursuit of terrorists in Sinai, northeast of Egypt.

The website of the seventh day quoted the military spokesman for the Egyptian army, Colonel Karim Abdel Hafez, as saying: to complement the efforts of the armed forces in the fight against terrorism in central and northern Sinai, 13 terrorists were eliminated and 15 automatic rifles and quantities of ammunition of various calibers and a number of mobile phones and motorcycles used by the terrorists were seized.

Al-Hafez referred to the martyrdom and wounding of nine soldiers during the operations, stressing the continued pursuit of terrorist elements “so that the country enjoys security and safety.”
