Egypt will host an emergency Arab summit on February 27, 2025, in Cairo, following coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the current chair of the Arab Summit, and the General Secretariat of the Arab League.

“The Arab Republic of Egypt will host an emergency Arab summit on February 27, 2025, in Cairo, following coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the current chair of the Arab Summit, and the General Secretariat of the Arab League “the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The statement pointed out that “This decision comes after extensive consultations and coordination at the highest levels with brotherly Arab nations in recent days, including the State of Palestine, which requested the summit.”

“The summit aims to address the latest and serious developments regarding the Palestinian cause,” the statement added.
