Egypt condemns Israeli attacks on Syrian territories

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry has  condemned the Israeli attacks on Syrian territories and called on the international community to intervene as to stop these violations.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said Egypt described the attacks as a systematic escalation and a blatant violation of internationsl law and UN Charter.

Egypt reiterated that this Israeli policy increases tension and conflicts and constitutes a flagrant violation of the Syrian sovereignty, independence and tertitorial integrity.

Egypt calls on all influential international parties and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities in forcing Israel to stop such violations.

Egypt also reiterated the importance of Israel’s withdrawal from the Syrian lands it has recently occupied, in a blatant violation of the disengagement agreement, in preparation for the complete withdrawal from the Syrian lands occupied in 1967, as Golan is an occupied Syrian land.
