Egypt condemns in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation’s bombing of Hospital in Gaza

Cairo (ST): Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli bombing of Al-Mamadani Hospital in Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of innocent Palestinian patients.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today: This deliberate bombing of civilian facilities and targets constitutes “a serious violation of the provisions of international and humanitarian law, and of the most basic values of humanity,” calling on “Israel” to immediately stop its policies of collective punishment against the people in Gaza Strip.

Egypt also called on all countries of the world, especially major and influential countries, to intervene to stop these violations and condemn them unequivocally, stressing that the occupying entity must stop targeting the vicinity of the Rafah crossing to enable Egypt and other countries and international and relief organizations  to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip quickly.

The Secretary-General of the Arab  League Ahmed Aboul Gheit, also condemned the occupation’s aggressive crime of deliberately bombing the hospital in Gaza which include defenseless civilians. He said on Twitter: The Arab League documents Israeli war crimes, and the criminals will not get away with their actions. The West must stop this tragedy immediately.

The brutal Israeli attack on the hospital resulted in an infinite toll of five hundred martyrs and more than six hundred others wounded.
