New York, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian stressed the need to immediately stop the war crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
During his meeting with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf in New York, Abdullahian stressed the need to confront attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians from Gaza Strip.
For his part, Ataf described Iran’s role in helping bring peace and stability to the region as important, praising Iran’s continued support for the Palestinian people.
During another meeting with his French counterpart Stephane Ségournet in New York, Abdullahian also called on the international community to make redundant efforts to stop Zionist war crimes in Gaza, reach a ceasefire and prevent the displacement of Palestinians from their homes.
For his part, the French Minister pointed to the constructive and positive role of Tehran in maintaining peace and stability. He stressed the importance of preventing an increase in tension in the region.
In an interview with the American ABC News channel, Abdullahian warned of the increasing risk of war in the Middle East in light of American support for the Zionist entity in its aggression against Gaza Strip.
Abdullahian pointed out that America is the main reason for the escalation of tension in the region. He said: Washington expresses its concern about the escalation of tension, but it supports the Israeli war machine and expands the scope of the conflict.
