The Ministry of Education on Wednesday inaugurated a 3D virtual laboratory, which is the first of its kind in the world that contains Arabic content.

The new lab provides teachers and students with an opportunity to join the experience of the 3D virtual reality.

The lab is a further step towards achieving the education transformation plan, which enhances the use of technology in an interesting way and applying it in curricula, Education Minister Darem Tabbaa told reporters.

He explained that Syria is one of the first countries that put a strategy for education transformation and it has started applying it five years ago.

All students of schools, institutes and universities can benefit from this experience of virtual education, Tabbaa said.

He added that a more advanced laboratory, that includes using Artificial Intelligence and robots, is being prepared in cooperation with the concerned parties.
