Edogan’s Army Kills Nine Syrian Civilians in Hassaka Countryside near Syrian-Turkish Borders

HASSAKA, (ST)- Forces of the Turkish regime have killed at least 9 Syrian civilians in Hassaka countryside at the Syrian-Turkish borders which were turned into an open crossing for smuggling arms, ammunitions and mercenaries to terrorist groups in Syria and for trading with the oil stolen from Syria by ISIS terrorists.

Local sources told SANA correspondent in Hassaka that the Turkish army opened fire on a number of civilians near “Kahyla” village between the Ras al-Ayn and Tal Abyad cities, killing nine civilians, including children, and injuring others.

Some of the injured persons, who were taken to to Ras al-Ayn city for medical treatment, said “Turkish soldiers opened fire at them indiscriminately the moment they approached the joint borders, causing the martyrdom of several civilians and wounding some others.”

Turkish regime’s targeting of Syrian civilians at borders raises many questions, particularly as it had set up several camps at the borders, even before the eruption of the crisis in Syria, to encourage the Syrians to leave their country.
