Duma calls on Washington to review Russia’s nuclear doctrine before launching any threat

Moscow (ST): The head of the Russian State Duma’s International Affairs Committee, Leonid Slutsky, called on US officials to familiarize themselves with Russia’s nuclear doctrine before issuing any threat to Russia.
Slutsky was quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency as saying in a statement today:  “This is not the first time that the United States has talked about the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons in Ukraine, and American specialists should better study the Russian nuclear doctrine before issuing warnings through the media”.
He stressed that the United States is the root cause of the conflict today, and if it stops pumping weapons to the Kiev regime, the confrontation will end as soon as possible.
