Drinking water pumped to Al-Hasaka neighborhoods after 25 days of being cut off by Turkish occupation

Al-Hasaka , (ST) – The General Establishment for Drinking Water in Al-Hasaka Province has started to pump water to Hasaka City after 25 days of being cut off by the Turkish occupation.

Director-General of the Establishment, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Okleh, in a statement to SANA reporter said that, the process of pumping water to the neighborhoods of Ghwairan Sharqi and Ghwairan Gharbi, al-Lailyia, al-Nashwa al-Sharqiya, al-Zouhor and the southern compounds has started after 25 days of being cut off by Turkish occupation. This process of pumping water started after the completion of the water pumping process from tanks in Al-Himmeh area to Al-Azizyia Station in Hasaka City

Al-Okleh pointed out that, the work of Alouk Station is not stable yet in terms of the number of the wells and the pumps as the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue to attack the electrical network that feeds Alouk project.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish occupation forces have stopped Alouk Station from operating and prevented water being pumped to Al-Hasaka city and the western countryside for the seventeenth time since they occupied Ras al-Ayn City and its countryside last year.
