Damascus (ST): Within the activities of the book fair, Dr. Taleb Omran signed his new novel, “In Search of an Identity,” which belongs to science fiction, within the activities of the book fair currently being held at the Al-Assad National Library.

The novel mixes reality and imagination, past, present and future through literary and symbolic projections, as its time goes back to pre-Christmas and to the civilizations that existed in our country and shone its light on the world.

Dr. Omran, during his signature of the novel in the wing of Dar Akl, said that the search for identity begins with the ancient civilization of Babylon and moves through the ages to our present time, shedding light on what our enemies committed against our archeology, heritage and civilization.

About his focus on science fiction literature in most of his writings, Dr. Omran explains that this style is the literature of the future and any person tries to know and anticipate what the coming days hide, especially the young groups who tend to talk about the future and topics related to science fiction.
