DPRK successfully tests a high-thrust solid-fuel engine
Pyongyang (ST): The DPRK successfully tested a high-propellant solid fuel engine, in the presence of DPRK President Kim Jong Un.
The Korean Central News Agency said in a statement today: The National Institute of Defense Science and Technology succeeded in a static test of a high-thrust solid-fuel engine at the Sohee base, noting that the test was the first of its kind in the country.
The agency stated that the test provided a confirmed scientific and technical guarantee for the development of a new type of strategic weapon system.
