DPRK President voiced Solidarity with Syria
PYONGYANG,(ST)_ President of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea DPRK Kim Jong-Un stressed his ” country’s total solidarity with Syria in the face of imperialism,”, noting that the US, Israel and their hirelings will never be able to undermine Syria ‘s unwavering stances.
This came during President Jong-un meeting yesterday with the delegation of the Arab Baath Socialist Party headed by Abdullah al-Ahmar the Party ‘s Assistant Secretary-General , currently visiting DPRK to take part in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people liberation.
President Jong-un welcomed the Syrian delegation and extended his greetings to President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian people, pointing out that sending a Syrian delegation to celebrate DPRK victory is a great encouragement to the people of the DPRK.
President Jong-un condemned all forms of foreign interference in the internal affairs of Syria by world imperialist ,warning that continued aggression against Syria will drag the Middle East into a conflict of severe consequences that threaten international peace and security.
He stressed total confidence that Syria will emerge from the crisis victorious, thanks to the cohesion between the Syrian people and Arab army under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
Al-Ahmar expressed Syria’s appreciation for the positions of DPRK and its historical leaders and their support for the Arab nation just issues , especially the Palestinian cause and the liberation of the occupied Syrian Golan ,stressing Syria’s support to the DPRK in its right to possess nuclear energy for peaceful development ,progress of its society and for the unification of the Korean peninsula.
Al-Ahmar also displayed Syria and the Arab Baath Socialist Party stances concerning overall developments , events experienced by Syria and conspiracy planned by the US, Western countries, and regional and some Arab regimes to undermine Syria ‘s unity , security and stability stressing that Syrian people awareness and commitment to unity and national steadfastness will defeat conspirators.
He also explained that at the beginning of the crisis, the conspirators against Syria posed cheap and fake reform slogans , and when they were confronted by commitment of the Syrian leadership to make concrete reforms , they recruited armed terrorist groups from outside the country and provided them with money , weapons and misleading media , besides imposing unjust economic blockade on the Syrian people.
He pointed out that the Syrian leadership has sought from the very beginning of the crisis to resolve it through national dialogue and under the ceiling of the country with the participation of all Syrians.
