DPRK condemns Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people

Pyongyang (ST): The DPRK condemned the continuous crimes and massacres committed by the Israeli occupation entity against the Palestinian people, especially children, noting that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which left hundreds of martyrs, including 66 children, is evidence of this entity’s barbarism.

An article entitled “There is no justification whatsoever for killing children,” published today on the website of the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the “International Day of Child Victims of Abuse,” stated that the United Nations General Assembly set 39 years ago during an emergency special session this day of each year to remind with the Palestinian and Lebanese children who fell victims of Israeli brutality and oppression.

The ministry pointed out that the barbaric air and ground bombardment on the Palestinian territories last May caused the death of 66 children among hundreds of other martyrs, in addition to hundreds of wounded in the Gaza Strip alone. It is not an exaggeration to say that the entire besieged sector has turned into a “human slaughterhouse” and a place where  massacres are committed against children.

The ministry added that the crimes of “Israel” and its killing of these children  are a horrific challenge and a serious threat to the future of humanity and a crime against humanity.
