OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, April.20, (ST)- Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed on Wednesday into an archaeological site near the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
Ghassan Daghlas, the official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, told Wafa news agency that dozens of settlers stormed into the archaeological site of Burnat, located on the top of Mount Ebal, north of Nablus, under the protection of the occupation forces, a day after storming Jabal al-Qubaybat in Cyrenaica, northwest of the city.
He stressed that the settlers tried more than once to establish a settlement in the northern West Bank but the people failed their attempts.
Settlers break into separate areas of the West Bank on a daily basis under the protection of the occupation forces and attack Palestinian homes and properties with the aim of Judaizing them.
