Dozens of settlers storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque

Dozens of Israeli settlers on Monday stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque today from the Magharbeh Gate and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards under the heavy protection of the occupation forces, which imposed strict restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers into the mosque, Palestinian media reported.
The head of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, warned against the occupation’s plans to change the status quo of Al-Aqsa Mossque, indicating that any attempt to harm the mosque would lead to disastrous repercussions in the region.
Fattouh called on the international community and the United Nations to assume their responsibilities and work immediately to put an end to these plans which violate the UN resolutions which prohibit any change in the status quo in the city of Al-Quds and its Islamic and Christian sanctities. He pointed out that the Palestinian people will continue with their struggle to protect Al Aqsa Mosque and all sanctities and to defend their land and rights, and that Al-Quds will remain the eternal capital of the Palestinian state.
