Dozens of Palestinian university students get suffocated and arrested as Israeli occupation attacks rally commemorating Nakba anniversary
OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, May.15, (ST)- Dozens of Palestinian students from the Palestine Technical University (Kadoorie) were suffocated and arrested today as Israeli forces attacked a nearby rally commemorating the 74th anniversary of the 1948 Nakba.
WAFA correspondent said Israeli occupation forces heavily fired tear gas canisters inside the university campus during clashes that broke out near the university where dozens of students were suffocated due to tear gas inhalation. They were all treated at the scene.
It added that several university students were arrested.
Moreover, an Israeli settler from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar, south of Nablus, kidnapped a Palestinian boy today outside his school in the village of Urif in the occupied West Bank province of Nablus, according to local sources.
Ghassan Daghlas, an official in charge of monitoring Israeli violations in the area, told WAFA that a settler, who works a security guard at Yitzhar settlement, kidnapped Abdel-Rahim Yousef Kokas outside his school. Kokas is said to be a student in the 11th grade.
