Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Dozens of Palestinians on Monday were martyred and injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip for the 45th day, in addition to the Israeli bombing and siege of the Indonesian Hospital.
Palestinian media reported that the Israeli occupation aircraft bombed homes in the Nuseirat and Bureij camps in central Gaza Strip, the vicinity of Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah, various areas in Khan Yunis to the south of the Strip, and a school housing displaced people near the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, which led to the death of more than 60 martyrs and the injury of dozens.
At dawn, the occupation forces surrounded the Indonesian Hospital with dozens of vehicles and tanks and bombarded it with artillery, which led to the death of 12 wounded persons and their companions, and the injury of dozens, including two from the medical staff.
The occupation snipers, deployed on the rooftops of the buildings near the hospital, targeted everyone who tried to leave it and prevented Ambulances from transporting the wounded, as it is the only hospital that operates partially in northern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health clarified that the situation is catastrophic in the Indonesian Hospital and that the number of martyrs is likely to increase due to the power outage after its generators stopped working as a result of the bombing.
The ministry indicated that thousands of displaced people and about 700 medical staff members, wounded and sick are in the hospital amid fears that the occupation will repeat the massacres it committed at the Shifa Medical Complex.
The Ministry pointed out that the Indonesian Hospital, which is now in the circle of death, represents the backbone of the health service in the northern Gaza Strip, and the occupation insists on putting it out of service, which will lead to the complete cessation of health services in the north.
The Ministry also indicated that the occupation has exhausted hospitals in the northern and southern Gaza Strip, and that there are only 4 hospitals operating at a minimum capacity in the Strip and they are expected to go out of service if fuel is not available and sufficient quantities of medical aid do not arrive.
The number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip which has been continuous since the seventh of last October has risen to more than 13,000, including more than 5,500 children and 3,500 women. In addition, more than 30,000 people were also injured, most of them are children and women.
Palestinian Resistance condemns occupation’s bombing and siege of the Indonesian Hospital is a crime
The Palestinian resistance confirmed that the Israeli occupation’s bombing and siege of the Indonesian Hospital is a crime that requires international intervention to protect the last health institution operating in the northern Gaza Strip.
The resistance said in a statement today: This criminal enemy, which is besieging and bombing hospitals, under the eyes and eyes of the whole world, is today trying to destroy the only operating hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, after imposing the cessation of work by force of arms and bombing on the rest of the hospitals.
