Dozens of martyrs and injures as a result of the ongoing occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 66th day
Today, dozens of Palestinians were martyred as a result of the ongoing occupation aggression against the stricken Gaza Strip for the 66th day amid a catastrophic deterioration in health and humanitarian conditions and warnings of spreading the famine.
Palestinian media reported that, during the past hours, the occupation aircraft launched raids on homes in the Maghazi and Nuseirat camps in the central Gaza Strip, the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah, Khan Yunis to the south, Jabalia to the north, and several areas east of Gaza city, which led to the martyrdom of more than 40 and the injury of dozens.
Two children were martyred after the occupation aircrafts bombed while they were riding a bicycle on Jalal Street in Khan Yunis, while the occupation artillery heavily bombed Jabalia camp in the north of the Gaza Strip and Khan Yunis in its south.
The media office in Gaza warned of the spread of famine in the Strip, especially in Gaza City and its north, indicating that international institutions bear, along with the occupation and the United States, full responsibility for the deterioration of humanitarian conditions and the deterioration of food and water security.
It also called on international institutions to carry out its role effectively and truly, and for UNRWA to return to work in Gaza and the north, and not to leave hundreds of thousands of displaced people without lunch, water, or relief, and to distribute flour and basic food supplies as quickly as possible and without delay or procrastination.
The office explained that the Strip is going through a dangerous stage at all levels, especially in the health, humanitarian and relief sectors – a matter which threatens an unprecedented disaster whose repercussions cannot be contained. The Palestinian Media Office called on the Security Council and the United States to stop the brutal occupation war on the Gaza Strip immediately and to bring in fuel, humanitarian and medical aid, erect field hospitals, supply equipment and mechanisms that relief, emergency and civil defense crews need so that they can recover the thousands of bodies of martyrs that are still under the rubble.
The office also called to remove the rubble resulting from the occupation’s bombing and demolition of hundreds of thousands of homes, schools, hospitals, streets and important facilities, and calling for a solution to the humanitarian catastrophe related to the loss of 305 thousand families of their homes.
Today, the comprehensive strike extends to all cities and towns of the West Bank and various regions in the world in support of the stricken Gaza Strip, and in rejection of the occupation’s continued aggression against it since the seventh of last October, which claimed the lives of about 18,000 martyrs and 49,229 wounded.
