Dozens Left Aleppo Eastern Neighborhoods Fleeing Terrorists’ Atrocities

ALEPPO, (ST)-Dozens of people, who were trapped in Aleppo eastern neighborhoods by terrorist organizations, managed on Monday to flee the terrorist-held area into the the city’s western neighborhoods where Syrian Arab Army unites received them and moved them to safe place.

According to SANA reporter, 48 citizens, including women and children, left Aleppo eastern neighborhoods, where terrorists used civilians as human shields, and arrived at army check points in the western areas of Aleppo.

The army and competent authorities in the governorate offered all forms of assistance to the families and took them to temporary shelters, the reporter said.

Aleppo Governor Hussein Deyab said medical teams provided health and first aid services to patients and wounded people, stressing the government’s keenness on the safety of all the Syrian citizens.

Some of the locals who left the terrorist-held areas expressed their happiness for being able to flee the crimes of the terrorist gangs, pointing out that over the past few days, they repeatedly tried to leave the eastern districts through the safe corridors specified by the army during the humanitarian pause, but the terrorists prevented them by force.

The terrorist organizations prevented thousands of locals from leaving the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo during the days of the humanitarian pause announced by the General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces in coordination with the Russian side.  They wanted to use them as human shields and to exploit the humanitarian situation in Aleppo to pressure the state in the service of their supporters.
