Dozens killed and injured in Israeli shelling of central, southern Gaza

Dozens of civilians were killed and injured this evening in the Israeli occupation’s bombardment of the central and southern Gaza Strip.

Sources said that the occupation has committed 13 massacres in the last 24 hours, which resulted in the killing of 113 civilians and the wounding of 205 others, according to WAFA news agency.

The Israeli occupation forces also shelled a residential square in the Jura area and a house near the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing and injury of scores of people, mostly children and women.

Israeli tanks also shelled intensively the vicinity of the al-Tayaran area to the west of Gaza City. Warplanes also launched a strike targeting the Qatari-funded residential city of Hamad to the northwest of Khan Yunis.

According to medical sources, four civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli strike that targeted a house in the Al-Salam neighborhood, east of Rafah City.

The warplanes also carried out air raids against agricultural land in the same neighborhood.

Two civilians were also killed and others were injured in an Israeli shelling of the Tel al-Zaatar area in the northern Gaza Strip.

The occupation warplanes also targeted the eastern areas of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Strip.

Since the start of the Israeli occupation’s aerial, ground and sea aggression against Gaza Strip on October 7 of last year, more than 27,478 people, mostly children and women, have been killed and over 66,835 others have been wounded. More than 8,000 people were reported missing.
