Dozens demonstrated in the US state of Minnesota against the intention of the state parliament to transfer more money to the Israeli occupation entity.
Local media reported that the state police arrested 14 demonstrators, namely 12 women and two men who were among dozens of pro-Palestine demonstrators who gathered in front of the residence of Minnesota governor Tim Walz on Mississippi River Street to protest the intention of state legislators to transfer additional investments from pension funds to the Israeli entity.
“Every investment in companies doing business in Israel strengthens the latter and expands the genocidal colonial project that is Israel. I don’t think pensioners will want this money if they know where it is being invested,” one of the demonstration organizers said.
