Doors Still Open for those Who Were Misled or Committed Errors to Return to the Homeland

ALEPPO – State Minister for National Reconciliation Affairs Ali Haidar stated that the number of citizens who have settled their legal status exceeded 100.000 citizens, adding that doors are still open for those who were misled or committed errors to benefit from the Amnesty decree issued by President Bashar al-Assad and return to the homeland.

 Haidar made his remarks during a popular meeting held in Debsi A’fnan town in the countryside of Raqqa province, according to SANA.

He said that the visit aims at conveying congratulations to the heroes of the Syrian Arab army and the backup forces over their victory which adds a new achievement to their record and become one step closer to achieving their goal in complete elimination of terrorism.

The minister renewed the government’s keenness to provide citizens with their needs and services required to restore their normal life and return to their daily activities, calling upon all families to cooperate with the Ministry in order to make more reconciliation.

The assigned Raqqa Governor Abd Khaled al-Hamoud, for his part,  said that 836 families have returned to their homes in Debsi A’fnan town and its surrounding.

Residents of Debsi A’fnan area expressed joy over their return, extending gratitude to the sacrifices made by the Syrian army to eliminate terrorism, urging the government to speed up maintenance and repair works to rehabilitate schools, service utilities and other state institutions and restore electricity, water and communication networks.
