Donetsk announces the liberation of the town of Bakhmutskoye

Donetsk (ST): The Defense Command of the Donetsk People’s Republic announced the liberation of the town of Pakhmutskoye, located near Soledar, in the northeast of the Artyomovsk region, according to RIA Novosti.

The city of Artyomovsk is located in the Kiev-controlled part of the Republic of Donetsk, north of the large city of Gorlovka, and it is an important strategic transportation center for supplying groups of Ukrainian forces in Donbas, as a network of roads and railways passes through this city.

Fierce battles are taking place for the cities of Artyomovsk and Soledar.
