Dubai (ST): The Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, 6 days before its conclusion, continues to receive guests, hold events and sign agreements aimed at achieving the maximum benefit from the Syrian participation in this international exhibition.
A delegation of elite Brazilian businesswomen visited the pavilion and were briefed on its various sections, including exhibits and various artistic and cultural contents.
During the visit, a charitable project was launched and a memorandum of understanding was signed to help the needy in Syria, in the presence of the Syrian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, and the director of the pavilion, Eng. Khaled Al-Shama`a.
According to the memorandum, through the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the Amal Organization, ten paintings will be selected from the collective art exhibition under the title (I am the Syrian) to be printed on cotton T-shirts and marketed in Brazil, and the proceeds will go back to the needy in Syria as a first stage.
