Discussions to Strengthen Economic Relations between Syria and The UAE

The Consul General of Syria in the Emirate of Dubai and the northern emirates of the United Arab Emirates, Kinan Zahreddine, discussed on Thursday, the 17th of February 2022 with Hamad Mubarak Buamim, Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ways to enhance economic and trade relations between the two countries.

In the meeting, Zahreddine pointed out the depth of bilateral relations between Syria and the UAE and the importance of working on developing economic cooperation between the two countries.

 

For his part, the UAE official expressed readiness to make all possible efforts to advance economic and investment relations with Syria by supporting and activating inter-communication and trade exchange between the owners of economic activities in the two countries. In this respect, the UAE official indicated the importance of activating the work of the Syrian-Emirati Businessmen Council as a platform to strengthen bilateral relations and push them forward in a way that achieves mutual benefits.
