Muhanna pointed that the Republic of South Africa’s can play a positive role in clarifying the truth of what happened in Syria, given that its embassy remained in Damascus and did not close its offices and was a witness to what happened.

For his part, Ambassador Gilder pointed to the depth of relations between the two countries and the importance of increasing cooperation between them in various fields

Ambassador Gilder stressed that his country is clearly aware of what is happening in Syria, which prompted it to support it in international arenas, especially during his country’s presence as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
