Discussing methods of developing arbitration centers performance in accordance with international quality standards

Participants in the Scientific Arbitration Day called for the mobilization of  efforts and cooperation to upgrade national arbitration centers to cope with performance standards through using international quality tools. The Scientific Arbitration Day was held on Sunday in Damascus by the International Quality Makers Center for Negotiation and Arbitration and the Arab Quality Makers Center.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Quality Makers Center for Negotiation and Arbitration, Mohammed Zuhair Taghlibi, pointed to the continuous endeavor to develop the center’s performance and provide services to those interested in the field of arbitration, negotiation and alternative solutions to conflict resolution. The Chairman also shed light on the management of negotiation and commercial, engineering, financial and economic arbitration and the provision  of facilities to manage arbitration operations and develop quality performance in the judicial and legal sectors according to international quality rules and standards.

 

Executive member of the Legal Consultation of the Monetary and Credit Council Dr. Alaa El-Din Al-Zaatari gave a presentation on the concepts of conformity governance, compliance, and quality and their approach to operating laws and regulations, especially with regard to economic work and its impact on the success of the individual and the institution.

The international expert, Hassan Al-Hamwi, Deputy-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Quality Makers Center for Negotiation, underlined the need to improve the quality of performance to reach the quality of the product or service that conforms to “good performance standards” which are compatible with the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that the largest and most reliable international arbitration centers adhere to.

The winners in the British Fellowship Exam graduated during the Arbitration Scientific Day.

On November 25 last year, the International Quality Makers Center for Negotiation and Arbitration and Alternative Means to Conflict Resolution was launched and combined an elite of experienced arbitrators.
