Discovery of remains of a dinosaur in Morocco

A team of scientists in Morocco discovered the remains of a dinosaur that lived 66 million years ago.

Moroccan newspaper Hespress reported that this discovery came due  to rocks found in a mine around the Moroccan city of Casablanca, dating back to 66 million years.

The dinosaur belongs to the “duckbill” family, which are plant-eating dinosaurs, up to 15 meters long.

The discovered dinosaur was small compared to its peers, with a length of only 3 meters and the size of a horse. Scientists say that it is likely that the discovered dinosaur was a swimming animal thanks to its large tails and strong legs.
