The Excavation Department of Hama Directorate of Antiquities and Museums has found an ancient mosaic panel in the village of Mariamin, south of the city of Misyaf, which has previously witnessed the discovery of many mosaic panels, the most important of which is the panel of the Mariamin Musicians, currently displayed in the Hama Museum.
The panel is divided into three scenes, with the main scene in the center depicting the upper part of Tyche (the goddess of fortune in Greek mythology), alongside an inscription in Greek that means “Good Luck,” surrounded by a geometric frame (octagonal) shaped like braids. It is bordered by eight square panels adorned with geometric decorations, as well as two side panels featuring decorative geometric shapes dating back to the Roman era.
