Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Daraa distributes financial aid to families caring for cerebral palsy patients

Daraa, (ST) – With the aim of alleviating the suffering of families who have children with disabilities, the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Daraa distributed financial aid to the families raising persons with cerebral palsy.

The Head of Social Affairs and Labor, Nibal Al-Hariri stated in a statement to SANA reporter on Wednesday that the number of families benefiting from the 59.551 million Syrian pounds financial aid reached 1,549 families. He indicated that the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor seeks to mitigate the financial burden on families that support persons with disabilities, especially those with cerebral Palsy.

She added that the aid is paid periodically according to category and degree of disability and according to specific criteria set by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.
