Director of Education in Damascus Countryside: The arrival of the second batch of Syrian students from Lebanon to sit the general certification examinations
Damascus Countryside,(ST)- Damascus Countryside of Education Directorate announced the arrival of the second batch of 120 Syrian students residing in Lebanon today to take their exams at the Damascus Countryside Governorate centers.
In a statement to SANA’s delegate, Maher Faraj, Director of Education, explained that the total number of students coming was 290, pointing out that the directorate has designated three centers to host them in the two border towns (Yabous and Jadidah Yabous) in addition to Rawda town.
Faraj indicated that the directorate has completed all the necessary equipment to host students, in cooperation between the Ministry of Education, the Governorate of Damascus countryside, and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Organization, including providing all accommodation and means of transportation, psychological support, and developing programs to establish reinforcement courses and review the curriculum during the exam period.
Yesterday, Damascus Countryside Education Directorate announced the arrival of 170 Syrian students from Lebanon to sit for their exams at the Damascus Countryside Governorate centers.
