Director of Civil Aviation: Four countries submitted requests to land aid planes, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Sudan and Belarus
Last night the Syrian Director of Civil Aviation, Eng. Basem Mansour, announced that 21 countries have applied for landing permission at Syrian airports to provide aid to those affected by the earthquake
Mansour said: “Syria welcomes and thanks everyone who contributes to extending a helping hand to the victims of the devastating earthquake, and will agree to the landing of planes of countries wishing to send aid.”
Mansour pointed out that the number of planes that carried aid and landed in Syrian airports has so far reached 61 planes.
