Dignitaries of Hasakah tribes and clans warn of the US backed “SDF” militia’s schemes in the Syrian Al-Jazira region

The Council of the dignitaries of the clans and tribes in Hasakah governorate has warned of the hostile approach adopted by the US-backed Syrian “Democratic Forces” (SDF) militia against the locals in Hasakah, stressing that this aggressive behavior will lead to more chaos and to a state of hostility that is awaited by the US and Turkish occupation.

In a statement on Friday, the dignitaries’ council said that it strongly condemns the continuous attacks and provocations committed by the SDF militia, the latest of which was the kidnapping of two notables from two major tribes, urging the immediate release of the kidnapped dignitaries and the kidnapped persons who represent different segments of society in the Syrian Al-Jazira region.

The council called on the SDF militia to abandon these practices which will reflect negatively on citizens in this region and may lead to conflict between the residents.

It urged constructive dialogue with the Syrian State as to reach suitable solutions that maintain the Syrians’ unity s well as the sate of coexistence, safety and peace in this region.
