HOMS, May.19, (ST)- Homs governorate held on Thursday the “Homeland Tent” with the participation of the dignitaries of the clans from all the Syrian governorates to support the efforts of the State and to benefit from the amnesty decrees, which was recently issued to consolidate national reconciliations and activate participation in the reconstruction process.
The participants in the activity, which was held at the Governorate Palace in Homs city, stressed the importance of enhancing national reconciliations for the interest of the Syrian people to build what has been destroyed by the hostile war on Syria.
They issued a statement affirming that the Syria is united under the leadership of President Bashar Al-Assad, calling on those who left Syria because of terrorism to return and help rebuild the country and benefit from the amnesty decrees.
The statement rejected the illegitimate presence of the foreign occupation forces on the Syrian territory, and all forms of sanctions and the unjust blockade imposed by the colonial powers on the Syrian people.
It denounced the acts of piracy being carried out by the occupation forces who loot the Syrian natural resources.
Moreover, the clans reiterated their rejection of the practices of the Zionist enemy against the Arab people in the occupied Golan and Palestine.
The speakers in the activity said that the meeting comes within the framework of consolidating amity and boosting unity and enhancing the position of Syria, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
They added that the meeting is a new call for tolerance and love to preserve the diversity and beauty of the Syrian fabric.
