Dignitaries of Arab Tribes and Clans condemn Turkish occupation’s threats of launching new aggression on Syrian territories

The Council of Dignitaries of Arab Tribes and Clans has strongly condemned the criminal practices of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries towards the Syrian citizens and its military threats of launching a new aggression on Syrian territories in the north of Syria.

In a statement on Saturday, the council said that President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyib Erdogan is preparing his army and gangs to launch a new aggression on Syrian territories with the aim of occupying more Syrian lands to achieve its expansionist aspirations.

“Butcher Erdogan is drawing up military plans to realize his malicious Ottoman dreams by establishing what he calls “free zone” through which he seeks to occupy more Syrian lands and make a demographic change in order to serve the interests of the Neo Ottomans at the expense of the Syrian geography and people,” the statement clarified.

“The Council of Dignitaries of Arab Tribes and Clans strongly condemns these threats and aggressive practices by the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries,” the statement added. It urged leaders of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) separatist militia to learn from the new political and field developments and “abandon its separatist dreams in order to avoid repeating the tragedy that occurred in Afrin, Tal Abyas, Ras Al-Ayn and other areas occupied by the Turkish forces, because of the disability of this militia to defend them”.

The statement pointed out that the Council of Dignitaries of the Arab Tribes and Clans makes this call starting from its keenness to end blood shedding in Syria and preserve the territorial integrity of the country and it holds all who assist Erdogan in achieving his Ottoman dreams responsible for what may happen and calls for holding them accountable.
